About this course
The iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Cat Grooming & Introduction to Styling qualification course is ideal for those with a keen interest in cat grooming and seeking practical grooming experience under expert tuition. Whether you are a pet owner or a feline professional looking to expand your skill set, you will benefit from practical training in a school alongside essential theory knowledge to support your new skills which is delivered through our easy to use e-portfolio system. This blend of in-person and online training allows learning to fit around your commitments, giving you the flexibility to complete theory work at a time and location of your choice. During the practical training, you will be trained in prepping a cats coat, bathing, scissoring, clipping, styling and nail trimming on a selection of cat breeds. This course also covers the essentials of health & safety whilst cat grooming, ensuring the cats welfare throughout the grooming process, planning grooms, maintaining equipment, feline health checking and the legislation to consider. Due to the specialist nature of cat grooming and our commitment to animal welfare, Four Paws Groom School does not offer cat and dog grooming simultaneously in any location.

Course Breakdown
Course length: 10 days
Training Time: 9.30am – 4pm
Availability: Monday – Friday (varies per location)
Study mode: In person practical training and theory online
Eligibility to complete this course: Learners must be aged 16 or above and able to follow Tutor instruction. They must be comfortable around different cat breeds and temperaments and able to work at level 3.
Assessment method: Practical assessment & theory workbook completed on online e-portfolio
