Success Story Spotlight – Groomer Clare from Cumbria

We’re thrilled to celebrate Clare’s journey with us at Four Paws Groom School this month.

After a career of over two decades in contract catering, Clare from Carlisle, Cumbria, decided to pursue a new dream in grooming by establishing Queen of Paws.

She started her iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management with Four Paws Groom School in August 2020, and despite Covid causing travel issues, Clare completed her training in July 2021.

Speaking of her career move, Clare says “Before I attended Four Paws Groom School, I had no prior experience with grooming dogs, it was just a dream I always had. It doesn’t matter if you have never picked up clippers before as you are taught by the wonderful tutors who are very professional and amazing groomers themselves.”

“In my opinion and just as important is that they are down to earth, funny, friendly and they care. Nothing is a stupid question, the team will bend over backwards to make sure you’re comfortable, happy and understand what you need to do. You leave feeling confident you can be a dog groomer because of them – shout out to my girls Sarah, Clare, Hayley, Michelle, Natalie and Rachel for all your help.”
