About this course
We love dogs. It really is that simple. We want them to be safe. That means that they are cared for by people who have the skills to act should an emergency occur that threatens their health and safety. This is why we believe EVERY dog owner and canine professional should hold the iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid. This qualification tackles the commonly faced canine first aid scenarios and provides LIFE SAVING practical skills. You will learn how to treat injury, dressing wounds, allergic reactions, stings, poisoning, choking, seizures, CPR, hypothermia and much more. You can be a dog hero by ensuring you refresh your certificate every 3 years like it is recommended in human first aid. There are no pre-requisite requirements to studying this qualification. Following achievement of this qualification, you may want to take your learning to the next level and enroll on the iPET Network Level 4 Award in Canine First Aid in the Workplace alternatively, we also have a Level 2 First Aid for Dogs qualification which is available with 100% online learning, a great alternative if you are not close to one of our schools.
