Xoloitzcuintli Mexican Hairless Dog
The Xoloitzcuintli Mexican Hairless Dog is a loyal dog sometimes nervous but generally full of character, a dog most comfortable indoors.
As they have hair only on their heads feet and tail grooming needs for this dog are very different.
Grooming Tips
Brushing as required but not a big task using a Soft Bristle Brush or Comb.
Bathing is required frequently use a very mild shampoo, massage rather scrub into the skin and then rinse well and gently towel dry, and once gently towel dried we would recommend you moisturise their skin with an oil free hypoallergenic moisturiser.
If taking the dog out in the sun always apply a dog friendly sun block to their skin.
Nails will need trimming monthly and if not comfortable in doing this yourself please visit your local groomer.
